The Bodyguard device is an accurate and reliable method for assessing lifestyle, helping you to optimise your performance through monitoring your stress reactions, recovery and exercise prescription. The device is used by many including high performing executives and the best athletes in the world.

The device measures heart rate, heart rate variability and respiration. The measurements are analysed by a method based on 15 years of research at the University of Jyväskylä and Research Institute for Olympic Sports.

The device is easy to use, unobtrusive and it starts recording automatically.

OBJECTIVE:
To use the Bodyguard device to measure your recovery, stress reactions and exercise sessions over a period of 3 days and 3 nights or 7 days and 7 nights.

ACTIVITY:
You wear the Bodyguard device and spend approximately 15 minutes each day on recording the key activities/events of the day (for example when you woke up and went to sleep, your work day, stressful meetings, moments of recovery and exercise sessions).
This information is very helpful for your assessment report as it helps you to understand exactly how these activities/events affected you physiologically.

OUTCOME:
A detailed lifestyle assessment containing your personal results, including recommendations on how you can improve the different areas of stress, recovery and exercise. The assessment covers both work days and days off, to see how various lifestyle factors affect well-being and health.

Stress:
Identify stressful peaks and moments of recovery during your day. For example, a peaceful moment during the day can improve your resilience and lower your stress levels.
Learn to identify situations that typically cause stress. It is not essential to eliminate stress, but to ensure sufficient recovery.

Recovery:
It is no surprise that sleep is the most important factor for recovery.
The Bodyguard device measures your sleep duration, percentage of recovery and the quality of your recovery time during your sleep. You receive detailed information on your sleep, including helpful advice on the habits / behaviours that are weakening or supporting your sleep.

Exercise:
You get accurate information about the health and fitness promoting effects of exercise and of energy expenditure both during exercise and during the entire day.
